Compensation: $90,000–$110,000, depending on experience. We’re open to higher compensation for exceptional candidates, but this is designed as a mid-level role. The ideal fit has 4–6 years of product management experience and is not yet at the senior level.

 

About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead our retail website team at GoTickets, the premier online event ticket marketplace. In this role, you'll drive conversion optimization initiatives and spearhead new feature development to enhance our customer experience and grow our marketplace. As part of a lean, agile team, you'll wear multiple hats and work directly with engineering to bring products to market quickly. The ideal candidate combines strong product management fundamentals with technical literacy, basic design skills, and expertise in leveraging AI tools to maximize personal productivity and team efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Execution

  • Own the product roadmap for our retail website, balancing conversion optimization with innovative feature development

  • Work directly with engineering teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver high-impact product initiatives

  • Define and track key performance indicators, with particular focus on conversion rates, user engagement, and revenue metrics

  • Conduct user research, analyze customer behavior data, and translate insights into actionable product requirements

Roadmap Management & Agile Process Leadership

  • Develop and maintain a strategic product roadmap aligned with business objectives and technical constraints

  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to maintain team velocity and continuous improvement

Hands-On Product Design & Testing

  • Create wireframes, mockups, and user flows to communicate product vision and requirements

  • Design and execute A/B tests to optimize the ticket purchasing funnel

  • Analyze conversion data using analytics tools to identify friction points and opportunities for improvement

  • Collaborate with engineering to implement design improvements across desktop and mobile platforms

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Perform your own data analysis using analytics platforms, reports, and SQL queries to understand user behavior

  • Set up and monitor conversion funnels, user cohorts, and key business metrics

  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders

AI-Powered Product Development

  • Leverage AI tools for rapid prototyping, user story generation, and requirements documentation

  • Use AI-powered analytics and research tools to accelerate market analysis and competitive intelligence

  • Integrate AI features that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency

  • Champion the adoption of AI tools across the organization to improve workflow efficiency

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of product management experience, preferably in e-commerce, marketplace, or ticketing industries

  • Strong technical background with ability to work closely with engineering teams on complex web applications

  • Proven track record of driving measurable improvements in conversion rates and user engagement

  • Comfortable creating wireframes and basic designs (design expertise not required)

  • Advanced proficiency with AI productivity tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)

  • Experience with analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude) and A/B testing tools

  • Ability to write basic SQL queries and perform data analysis independently

  • Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs, and modern development practices

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the events, entertainment, or ticketing industry

  • Background in marketplace or two-sided platform products

  • Knowledge of machine learning applications in product development

  • Experience working in lean startup or small team environments

  • Familiarity with mobile app product management

  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
