In this pivotal role, you will articulate and execute a winning global product strategy, ensuring a healthy portfolio that delivers on customer needs and propels business growth.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute a global product strategy encompassing all value chains.

  • Conduct market research, identify customer needs, and analyze competitive trends to shape the product roadmap and drive innovation.

  • Work collaboratively with market-facing teams and technical functions to transform product concepts into commercially successful offerings.

  • Manage the product portfolio, build product life cycle strategies, and ensure product quality and integration into end-user applications.

  • Partner with market-facing teams to establish value pricing strategies that maximize profitability throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Lead product roadmap development based on market insights, competitive analysis, and industry trends.

  • Build and mentor a high-performing product management team, fostering a strong culture of collaboration and execution.

  • Navigate the intersection of business strategy, product development capabilities, and market demands to create a profitable product portfolio.

  • Travel approximately 30% domestically and internationally.

Required Qualifications:


  • Degree in Engineering or Chemistry (MBA preferred).

  • Proven track record of success in global product management, ideally within the specialty plastics or chemicals industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver successful product strategies and execution at a global scale.

  • Experience working effectively with teams across diverse global markets.

  • Proven ability to rationalize product portfolios across multiple businesses and markets.

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to seamlessly integrate technical and commercial aspects of product management.

  • Experience developing pricing strategies that consider product development capabilities and target markets.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Ability to build a robust product roadmap and profitable product portfolio leveraging stage-gate processes.
