Q2 is seeking a Technical Product Owner that is focused on supporting our bank and credit union customers with guiding the technical approach for Q2βs Open Banking services.Β
Working within the Product Team, the Technical Product Owner is responsible for establishing a deep understanding of the Q2 Product roadmaps. Their role entails consistent collaboration with other Product teams, vendors and market research to inform the technical approach and API strategy to meet the demands of Q2βs various product offerings in a standardized and structured methodology. This individual must have exceptional collaborative skills that enables them to drive prioritization of deliverables through identifying, monitoring and reporting dependencies and roadblocks across all Product and Engineering work streams.Β Β

RESPONSIBILITIES:Β Β
Provide vendor and core information to internal and external stakeholdersΒ Β Β
Coordinate with internal Strategic Alliance teamsΒ
Assist product owners to drive definition of features throug integrations and 3rd party vendorsΒ
Develop roadmaps related to integrations and 3rd party vendors, using industry standards (like FDX)Β
Translate vendor requires into documentation and direction for internal teams.Β Β
Collaborate with stakeholders on price modeling and revenue potentialΒ
Ability to tightly manage multiple input sources and requests for resources or developmentΒ Β
Synthesize and manage potentially competing priorities across multiple products and development teams to schedule technical dependencies Β
Influence stakeholders to drive prioritization of decisions to ensure project timelines are metΒ Β
Clearly communicate with internal as well as customer-facing teams to set timing and functional expectations of product improvements and technical roadmapsΒ Β
Work effectively in agile development environment to plan sprints and ensure development matches requirements and business needs of various teamsΒ Β
Ability to understand technical architecture of the product, impact of changes, and make decisions about and/or educate other product managers on details of trade-offsΒ
Demonstrate technical leadership to quickly gain the trust of development teams on tough decisions that require prioritizing, and negotiating.Β Β
Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to.Β

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:Β
B.S. or B.A in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Communications or related fieldΒ
Technical Background PreferredΒ
Minimum 2-4 years in product management, financial services or e-commerce is preferredΒ
Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptableΒ
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with all level of employeesΒ
Strong teamwork, organization, and problem resolution skillsΒ
Ability to understand multi-stack solutionΒ
Knowledge of the Banking/Fintech marketΒ
Experience with OauthΒ Β
Knowledge of Financial Data Exchange (FDX)Β Β
Excel and presentation skillsΒ
Self-starter with proven ability to deliver results with minimal assistance is a mustΒ
