Summary:
Our award-winning client is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join their team. The Senior Product Manager is responsible for developing and executing the product strategy for the company's wood pole restoration services. This includes generating new product ideas, evaluating and launching new products, and managing the lifecycle of existing products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in product management.
Responsibilities:
Generate new product ideas that align with the company's goals and objectives
Evaluate product ideas to ensure they are viable and meet the needs of customers
Develop business plans for new products and work with engineering and other teams to bring them to market
Manage the lifecycle of existing products, including identifying opportunities for improvement and enhancements
Work with sales and marketing teams to promote and sell products
Attend industry events and stay up-to-date on the latest trends in the industry
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers
Required Qualifications:
BS degree in mechanical or structural engineering or a related field.
10+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the electric or telecom utility space.
Strong technical background and understanding of wood pole restoration services.
Experience in developing and launching new products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel.
