Job Summary:

The Global Senior Product Management Manager will oversee the product lifecycle from concept to

launch, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet market demands and drive

Burlington Medical's strategic goals. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional

teams, including operations, marketing, finance, sales (direct and distributors), training, and customer

care, to develop and execute product strategies that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Vision:

路 Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's

overall goals and market opportunities.

路 Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify product

trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

路 Develop product roadmaps and prioritize features based on business value, customer needs,

and competitive advantage.

路 Provide guidance on product positioning, pricing, and differentiation strategies.

Product Development and Management:

路 Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation through to launch and ongoing

enhancements.

路 Utilize Stage-Gate process for new product and services development and following a project plan. Ensuring cross-functional alignment, timely execution, milestone tracking, communicate progress and risk to Senior Leadership.

聽路 Manage the product development backlog and prioritize work based on strategic importance and impact.聽

路 Manage consultants and vendors as needed to coordinate and achieve planned deliverables on schedule.聽

路 Develop go-to-market strategies and coordinate activities to maximize product success. Collaborate with Global Product Marketing on execution, including product launches, messaging, training, and collateral development.

聽路 Produce performance dashboards and reports to support product decisions and product rationalization and recommend changes, pricing strategies and product improvements.聽

路 Utilize the Product and Pricing SOP and collaborate with Product and Pricing Analyst to capture competitive pricing, cost GPM and pricing to obtain the appropriate review and approvals.

聽路 Provide Product Marketing and Marketing Communications with product content including descriptions, options, specifications (e.g., dimensions, weight), features/benefits, and strategic messaging for use across all platforms.聽

Cross-Functional Collaboration:聽

路 Work closely with Marketing Communication, Product Marketing, Product and Pricing Analyst, Sales, Training, and Customer Care teams to ensure successful product launches.

聽路 Communicate product plans, progress, and changes to stakeholders and senior leadership.

聽路 Work closely with Marketing Communications and Product Marketing to support the website and digital campaign content.聽

路 Partner with Product Marketing, Sales (Direct and Distributors), Sales Enablement and Training to delivery of product training.聽

路 Partner with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure products meet compliance requirements; maintain up-to-date product certifications and documentation available for customers.聽

Customer and Market Insights:聽

路 Engage with customers, partners, KOLs, and industry experts to gather insights and feedback.聽

路 Work with sales, global product marketing and customer service to gather and analyze customer feedback and identify opportunities for product improvement or innovation.

聽路 Analyze user data and conduct internal and external surveys to inform product decisions.聽

路 Maintain ongoing competitive analysis and actionable insights to strengthen product positioning and maintain market leadership.聽

路 Monitor product performance and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.聽

路 Establish and monitor KPIs and metrics to measure product success and identify areas of improvement. Team Leadership and Development:聽

路 Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and success.

聽路 Foster a collaborative, fast paced and high-performance team culture.聽

路 Set clear goals and expectations and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.

Financial Management:聽

路 Develop and manage annual product budgets and forecasts.

聽路 Track and report on product performance metrics, including revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

聽路 Initiate sales initiatives and product campaigns to drive awareness and revenue. Recommend actionable initiatives based on product group performance and direct and distributor sales.聽

Qualifications:聽

路 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

聽路 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

聽路 Proven track record of successfully managing and launching complex products in a fast-paced environment.聽

路 Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.聽

路 Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.聽

路 Deep understanding of product development and stage-gate processes.聽

路 Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.聽

路 Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback mechanisms.聽

路 Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.聽

Working Conditions:聽

路 The position can be remote or based in our headquarters office located in Newport News, VA.聽

路 Sometimes required to work in our production and warehouse facilities.

聽路 At least 25% travel required.聽

Physical Requirements:聽

路 Ability to work in a seated position throughout the workday at a typical office desk.聽

路 Keyboarding and entering text into a computer and using a mouse for primary input.聽

路 Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish in-person and phone speech and/or other sounds (e.g., computer notifications, building alarms). Ability to use a headset for verbal communication with customers utilizing Microsoft Teams.聽

路 Clarity of vision for use of computer displays.聽

路 Ability to execute tasks independently.聽

路 Ability to lift to 25 pounds.
