Are you a seasoned product professional that wants to shape the future of TV?
As a Senior Product Manager on the Client Video Product team, you will change the way people think about and watch their television. You鈥檒l join a team that is rapidly changing the landscape of TV through its Emmy-award receiving X1 platform that is already redefining the industry. In particular, you鈥檒l be working on how customers stream internet video from top content partners to their X1 set top.
Join our team to bring the streaming revolution to cable TV.
Who will you work with?
You鈥檒l work with the best and brightest minds in Client across both our headquarters in Philadelphia as well as our development center in Silicon Valley, CA.
As typical in product management leadership, you operate at the intersection between engineering, design, and the business. In this role, you will collaborate with a number of other support teams throughout the company such as our video rendering backend and metadata services team. You鈥檒l work directly with 3rd party content creators and services (think Netflix, YouTube, NBC Sports Digital and more), translating their content into a first class viewing experience on X1.
You鈥檒l be joining a team of product managers focused on enhanced video content experiences on the X1 set top box. This is part of a larger group run by the VP of Product Management responsible for how Client better serves sports fans and brings new types of content like streaming video and music to the set top box.
What are some of the interesting problems you鈥檒l work on?
Streaming internet video has changed how we consume entertainment on the go and on multiple smaller screens around the home. Taking the best parts of streaming internet video to the biggest screen in the house, you鈥檒l help evolve the set top box beyond channel grids and Video on Demand menus to almost limitless live and VOD streaming entertainment options. You鈥檒l also help our business and content partners monetize through digital ad insertion and subscription revenue.
