The impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, you will be part of providing the analysis, mentorship and capabilities to effectively lead user access to the information assets of the firm in a way that aligns with corporate security policies, satisfies regulatory compliance obligations and provides a positive end user experience.  

This Director Product Owner focuses on leading innovative identity lifecycle management initiatives, leading a team of developers and ensuring the delivery of robust Cyber and IAM solutions. The role requires sophisticated knowledge in programming, vendor management, strategic alignment across Cyber initiatives and a strong passion for technology.  

Your Primary Responsibilities: 

• Develop and refine strategic direction for the department, ensuring alignment with DTCC's overall business objectives 
• Handle DTCC's products across various environments, ensuring availability, scalability and stability 
• Work in tandem with engineering teams to improve DTCC's products and solutions, advocating for features that address evolving security needs and improve customer experience. 
• Engage directly with customers to understand their challenges and requirements, acting as an advocate within the organization to ensure our solutions meet their needs. 
• Assist in leading all aspects of departmental processes to ensure operational efficiency and quality, supporting the implementation of management standard processes. 
• Participate in maintaining compliance with industry standards and security best practices and play an active role in security incident response planning and execution.
• Assist with budget management and resource planning for the department, supporting the management of vendor relationships and technology investments.

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience 
• Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience 

Talents Needed for Success: 

• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Product Owner specializing in the Identity space 
• Consistent track record to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management  
• Proven track record to successfully define and deliver quality products in line with the company strategy, as well as meeting business objectives and budget targets 
•  Proven track record to run sophisticated objects across multiple teams providing all relevant deliverables to ensure a seamless product launch 
• Translate product strategy and key customer and market requests into a business case with detailed product requirements 
• Familiar with Identity protocol: OIDC, OAuth, and SAML; Step Up authentication technologies, standards, frameworks, and trends (FIDO, OAuth Step Up standard, Passwordless login; CIAM/IAM systems and their architecture 
• Ability to empower and encourage cross-functional teams. Experience working with senior collaborators from Marketing, CS, Sales, BD, R&D, as well as C-suite executives
