Job Purpose & Responsibilities:
- Own the product lifecycle for Elo’s payment software and services with a focus on card-present transaction solutions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, solutions architects, security, and customer support to define and drive delivery of roadmap features.
- Translate complex payment requirements from ISVs and merchants into actionable product requirements and prioritized user stories.
- Partner closely with Solutions Architects and Business Development Managers to ensure customer payment needs are accurately captured and met.
- Proactively monitor payment industry trends, PCI requirements, and regional mandates to inform product planning and maintain competitive edge.
- Remain informed on EMVCo specifications, card brand updates, and global certification processes.
- Support Sales by participating in customer meetings, evangelizing key use cases, and helping articulate value.
- Product liaison during sales cycles, contributing to requirements gathering, solution positioning, and stakeholder communication.
- Contribute to internal knowledge bases to support cross-team alignment and customer success.
- Clearly communicate technical concepts and product processes to audiences with varying levels of expertise.
- Other reasonable directives, responsibilities, and activities as assigned by manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 5-years' of experience in payments or fintech, with a focus on EMV, card-present systems, payment applications, or payment terminal technologies.
- At least 2-years' of hands-on experience as a Product Manager or Business Analyst delivering complex, customer-facing payment solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field, or at least 4-years’ equivalent work-related experience.
- Working knowledge of L3 certification processes, payment testing cycles, and processor-specific configuration nuances (e.g., TMS, key injection, parameter file management).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with payment gateways, payment processors and EMV middleware providers
- Proven experience gathering, documenting, and refining complex technical requirements from both ISV and merchant clients, with a deep understanding of semi-integrated and fully integrated payment flows.
- Demonstrated ability to manage product backlogs, author epics and user stories, and maintain a prioritized roadmap aligned with business and technical goals.
- Familiarity with payment security frameworks including PCI-DSS, P2PE, and EMVco.
- Prior experience acting as the payments SME within a product organization, including coaching junior team members and supporting technical pre-sales efforts.
- Previous experience in B2B or corporate IT environments.
- Experience working across both hardware and software teams.
- Familiarity with Android-based compute platforms.
- Experience working with cross-regional, multicultural teams across time zones.

- Demonstrated ability to drive agendas across diverse teams and functions.
- Experience with modern product toolsets such as Jira, Confluence, and Figma with fluency in Agile or Scrum-based development cycles.
- Highly organized and self-driven, with experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent certifications and deadlines.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with demonstrated success working alongside engineering, sales, solutions architects, and external stakeholders to drive feature implementation.
- Proven success influencing strategic direction up to VP-level stakeholders.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and managing without direct authority.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel for data analysis and decision-making.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to tailor messaging to technical and non-technical audiences alike.

Starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $91,800.00 and $140,700.00 annually is commensurate with experience relative to the position and may vary based on candidate geographical location.
