Responsibilities

LMI is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of IronSledβ€”our cyber and digital engineering readiness platform purpose-built for testing, validating, and hardening software systems before they are deployed into secure government environments.

IronSled provides a controlled, repeatable environment for software evaluation, DevSecOps pipeline integration, and compliance validationβ€”accelerating mission delivery while maintaining security and performance standards. As Product Manager, you’ll own the platform’s roadmap, guide technical evolution, and collaborate with security, engineering, and government partners to ensure IronSled enables rapid, trusted deployment of digital capabilities across defense and federal domains.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for IronSled in alignment with security, engineering, and mission-readiness objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teamsβ€”DevSecOps engineers, cybersecurity experts, platform teams, and program managersβ€”to deliver secure, high-performance platform capabilities.
  • Lead end-to-end product development: from requirement gathering and prioritization to delivery, documentation, and iteration.
  • Translate stakeholder needs around software evaluation, compliance testing, and secure delivery into clear product requirements.
  • Drive integration with CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps toolchains, and compliance automation frameworks.
  • Monitor platform performance, feedback, and testing outcomes to guide continuous improvement.
  • Ensure IronSled meets federal cybersecurity, infrastructure, and compliance standards, including support for containerized and air-gapped environments.
  • Communicate product plans, timelines, and priorities clearly across internal teams and external mission stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain a federal security clearance; in order to obtain a federal security clearance, a U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Manager for software infrastructure, platform, or security-related products.
  • Prior experience delivering DevSecOps, CI/CD, test automation, or cyber readiness platforms.
  • Demonstrated success working in federal or mission-driven environments with secure deployment requirements.
  • Familiarity with platform engineering, container orchestration, and security testing practices.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product lifecycle best practices.
  • Excellent communication and prioritization skills with technical fluency.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Git-based workflows, or equivalent product and engineering tools.
  • Applicants selected for this position may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. For this position, LMI will only consider applicants with current security clearances or applicants who are eligible for security clearances. Please note that only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Β

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering solutions for DoD, IC, or other high-side federal agencies.
  • Familiarity with FedRAMP, RMF, STIGs, SCAP, or other federal compliance frameworks.
  • Hands-on knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, Kubernetes, or air-gapped deployment practices.
  • Background working with platform teams, DevSecOps engineers, or SREs in secure environments.
  • Experience with continuous validation, automated compliance, or zero trust infrastructure initiatives.
