Job Summary:
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for developing the product vision and management for the assigned product portfolio. This is inclusive of defining strategies for current and new products while collaborating with other key stakeholders. The Senior Product Manager is a leader in the business and ensures business goals are met, customers are delighted, and market leadership is expanded.
Reznor, the premier, long-time market leader in gas heat, is excited to invest in and further penetrate the electric heat market. Electric heat represents an extremely exciting growth opportunity for our business. The Senior Product Manager will work with cross-functional teams to define, develop, manage, and deliver innovative products for Reznor’s gas, electric, radiant, and hydronic product lines.
- Leads the annual review process for assigned product lines using emerging market trends, SWOT, competitive review with product gap analysis, product lifecycle management analyses, and other strategic analyses.
- Define and communicate a clear, forward-looking product roadmap aligned with engineering capabilities, business goals, and market needs by segment.
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and operations teams to translate strategic vision into actionable product requirements to commercialize new products. Specifically serve as a conduit between engineering and marketing during product development.
- Translate customer insights, technical constraints, and business goals into detailed product requirements and specifications; able to present recommendations to cross-functional teams.
- Evaluate and prioritize new product ideas based on ROA analysis, technical feasibility, strategic fit, and resource availability.
- Create and present data-driven business cases for new product initiatives to executive leadership.
- Define key success metrics for new products and monitor post-launch performance to inform future product strategies.
- Work to create thought leadership pieces, publications, presentations, etc. and represent the company and industry in trade and professional organizations.
- Manage the new product introduction stage gate process; serve as technical expert for NPI commercial processes including training, marketing development, etc.
- Maintain the assigned portfolio by working with the proper department to resolve quality and costing issues, forecasting, inventory management, productivity, service issues, etc.
- Routinely interacts with key customers to gather their feedback on market changes and trends, new product, or service ideas, create demand for our products, and review future roadmaps.

Position Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Product Management, Business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in product strategy, product management, or new product development within an engineering-driven organization
- Strong understanding of engineering processes (e.g., mechanical, electrical, software, systems)
- Proven experience developing and launching successful products with a commercial focus
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-disciplinary environment
- Strategic thinker with a strong technical acumen and a passion for innovation
- Proven experience launching products in a B2B, distributor GTM model
- Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize work to achieve organizational goals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills resulting in data-driven decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present to groups across all levels of an organization or customer base
- Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams with engineers, designers, quality, sales, and manufacturing professionals
- General business and technological knowledge; proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
