Purpose of Position

The Global Product Manager- Encore dispenser platform will be responsible for managing the product planning and execution of assigned products & offerings throughout the product/offering lifecycle. This would include gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, articulating the product vision, strategy, and its successful implementation by working closely with cross functional teams such as engineering, sales, ops, marketing, and customer service. The role will work closely with relevant regional sales and marketing and other functional teams to ensure revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction goals are met. They will need to be a strong customer advocate, track the pulse of market and technology trends to ideate, incubate, and deliver differentiated high value solutions to customer problems. Β Β
Β Β Β Key Responsibilities
Β Drive the execution and planning of assigned product/offering portfolio. The scope of the work would typically include planning lifecycle processes for products, product research, market research, managing key partnerships, competitive analysis, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch/commercialization
Own key product performance KPIs such as revenue, DM% etc. Β and deliver results by collaborating closely with other functions such as engineering, production, marketing, sales, customer service etc.
Define product strategy and roadmaps. Translate product strategy into market requirement documents that outline high-level use cases, prioritized set of needs to define MVO, key functional and non-functional requirements. Work with commercial, finance and other functions to develop business case and actively monitor it during various stages of product development lifecycle for effective decision making
Be a champion of customer needs and satisfaction. Drive field connection through Gemba, VOCs, customer demos and pilots on both new and existing offerings and products
Develop pricing, product positioning and messaging that differentiates GVR offerings across primary market segments
Analyze market data to develop sales strategies, and define product objectives, value proposition for effective sales and marketing communications plans
Support development of sales training tools and materials and actively engage with regional marketing to support any sales, customer trainings and demos.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Background and Skill
At least 6-8 years in Product Management (preferably from Industrial, IT/ITES background)
Experience with Agile Development
Corporate Entrepreneurial Mindset
Experience and ability to deal with ambiguity especially while building requirements for offerings/solutions in relatively new/unknown areas and distill it to define MVOs, product vision, strategy & roadmaps
Experience in building value propositions, sales & marketing tools
Excellent in written and verbal communication skills
Preferably technical background or demonstrates comfort with technology
Ability and experience in working effectively with third parties (forge partnerships) to get to the market & outcomes faster
Ability to read and speak English
Ability to travel +/- 25% of the time
