As Product Manager, you’ll take ownership of a dynamic and evolving product portfolioβ€”leading initiatives that drive margin expansion, streamline development, and unlock new revenue streams across the extrusion and milling landscape.

This is a cross-functional leadership position where you’ll bridge the gap between innovation and commercializationβ€”turning customer and market insights into actionable opportunities. From managing product launches and digital marketing efforts to shaping pricing strategy and leading strategic initiatives, this role offers the chance to make a tangible difference in a growth-focused environment.

Day in the Life

  • Guide and streamline new product development (NPD) efforts by collaborating cross-functionally and recommending enhancements to speed up time-to-market.
  • Own the product development pipelineβ€”from idea inception through to commercial launch or cancellationβ€”based on current market trends.
  • Lead product portfolio optimization, including SKU rationalization and proactive market expansion strategies.
  • Work closely with sales teams to identify and develop new opportunities using existing and previously developed products.
  • Partner with leadership on executing go-to-market strategies, pricing, lead generation processes, and trade show marketing efforts.
  • Drive margin-enhancing brand strategy by leveraging internal marketing teams to develop materials, campaigns, and brand identity.
  • Monitor competitive activity and customer insights to inform strategic planning, pricing, and innovation roadmaps.
  • Coordinate new product launches and promotional campaigns
  • Manage the proactive product development pipeline based on trends.
  • Collaborate with Sales to generate new business using existing assets.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams for product pipeline and customer projects.
  • Support strategy execution and drive product offering improvements.
  • Work with Sales to drive extrusion and milling growth.
  • Design and implement a scalable lead acquisition and nurturing platform.
  • Align lead strategy with demand planning and sales conversion goals.
  • Support Commercial in defining product value propositions.
  • Align product/market goals with corporate strategic objectives.
  • Prioritize tactics for high-impact strategy execution.
  • Coordinate with Marketing to develop marketing content and brand strategies.
  • Own global product line positioning and brand identity efforts.
  • Develop and maintain product marketing literature and sales tools.
  • Lead trade show strategy and execution, including demos and promotions.
  • Track customer, market, and competitor trends to guide marketing activity.
  • Support new product introductions and proactive commercialization initiatives.
  • Work closely with Directors of Sales (Core & New Business), Finance, Innovation, HR, and Marketing.
  • Engage with customers, content creators, and external partners for marketing and sales enablement.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Food Science, or related Marketing field (MBA preferred with a strategy or marketing focus).
  • 7–10 years in product management, marketing, or sales, preferably in the food ingredients industry.
  • Strategic planning and execution experience for key customers.
  • Demonstrated leadership in NPD, marketing, and project management.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
  • Highly collaborative and able to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in analyzing consumer and market data (e.g., Nielsen, SPINS, Euromonitor).
