Leader of foundational product that will enable Broadridge to aggregate data from multiple internal, as well as external, platforms in order to produce value-added products globally.Β The position will be accountable for working across multiple business units, development and technology to deliver a transactional / operational data store, a data warehouse and a common data model.Β
The VP of product management will be responsible for creating an overall strategy to leverage the new data aggregation platform.Β They will work collaboratively with other product leaders to determine the necessary steps, in priority order, to achieve the vision.Β The roadmap will include how existing products migrate to the platform, including timing and client migration.Β The leader will also be responsible for new revenue generating product categories.
The VP will be responsible for product definition, functionality, understanding regulatory requirements, market and client dynamics, competitive intelligence, interacting with sales and marketing, the financial health of the product and guiding the way a product is developed.

Managing overall platform and product performance against plan, providing oversight of significant enhancements to the product and setting priorities to ensure client satisfaction
Developing βPlatform and Product Visionβ and assisting in the management of Product Development
Working with data and application architect to design and develop the platform
Identifying and understanding the market for the products, including pricing.
Ensuring that the plan, budgets, and resources required to implement Product Vision are allocated and managed to deliver as required.Β Strong relationship with project management.
Managing end-to-end product/new offering rollout from inception to launch
Developing Strategic Product Marketing (Go2Market)Β and Sales Plans for products under management
As a secondary function, ensuring client satisfaction and effective use of products

Skills:
Strong background, knowledge understanding in at least 2 out of 3 areas, 1) US equity markets 2) fixed income/Government auctions 3) non US Securities/European markets
Strong knowledge of how data is used to support back office clearance and settlement functions, reports, break reports, etc.
Can build and understand stock record reports, market risk and operational risk reporting that is consistent with running a brokerage back office function.
Strong working knowledge of DTCC, MSD, and other street organizations used to place security trades, clear and settle transactions, derivatives, credit markets, US Bond markets and Foreign Securities.
Familiar with various data models used in Financial Services either propriety, in-house or ISO standards and ISO 20022 nomenclature.
Working knowledge of databases, data warehouses, ETL and other technologies.
Ability to communicate across multiple business units and collaborate for a common cause
Polished presentation skills to βCβ suite, well versed in sales terminology and ability to βread the roomβ.
Proven ability to deliver a data project on time and on budget.Β
BA degree β Prefer MBA from top business school
8-10 years Strong analytical ability, excellent communication skills (verbal & written), and a team player
Demonstrated ability to understand overall conceptual design across multiple products and ability to identify and resolve problem details associated with integrated products.
