All About the Role:

This role serves as the product expert for the Majesco L&AH Suite, which includes Policy, Billing, Claims and Distribution Management products and is responsible for the overall success for that product. This role will -

  • Formulate product vision through market research & competitive analysis
  • Bring highly sought innovative product functionality to generate market demand and drive market adoption
  • Develop robust business cases, pricing and GTM plans for new product features / versions.
  • Be an internal and external evangelist of the product, working externally with the customers, industry analysts, partners, and internally with sales & marketing, delivery, customer success and product engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall success of the product measured in terms of – Win Rate, Revenue (New and Adoption), Direct Written Premium / In-force Policies Processed, CSAT / NPS.
  • Builds robust business case with tangible metrics e.g., win rate, ROI, NPS as well as intangible benefits to justify investment hypothesis.
  • Develops new software product concepts, designs, and/or enhancements to existing product design that reflect market and user requirements.Β 
  • Conducts research and develops a good understanding of the customer's needs, new technologies, trends in the market, and competitors.Β 
  • Maintain the roadmap goals, initiatives, capabilities, features and stories in the common online toolsΒ 
  • Develops requirements documents, functional specifications, and mock-ups to clearly illustrate product ideas and concepts.Β 
  • Works on cross-functional team to translate customer needs and technology directions into product definitions.Β 
  • Establish value proposition and develop tools for Sales & Marketing to differentiate products from the competition by articulating product value proposition and competitive differentiations.
  • Evangelize products, both internally and externally through writing blogs, industry papers, presentation at industry conferences, sales kick-offs and other events.
  • Work closely with Customer Support, Customer Success, Delivery and SI partners to understand important aspects of product lifecycle experience from onboarding, implementation and support point of view.
  • Work closely with Product Marketing and Presales to build and execute GA Launch plan.
  • Measure and monitor success of the product rollouts and integrate market feedback into future product plans and strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or global equivalent) in Science or related field; Master’s Degree preferred
  • 10+ years professional experience; 5+ years in L&AH insurance
  • Solid business and technical acumen related to L&AH Core System and marketplace with focus on Group Benefits
  • Well versed with insurance marketplace including insurance carriers, MGAs, industry analysts, incumbent and new insurance technology vendor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skillsΒ 
  • Ability to present ideas and information in influential ways through storytellingΒ 
  • Ability to forge relationships and communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Highly analytical and data driven mindset to conduct and consume the research for formulating product strategyΒ 
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while paying attention to details
  • Leverage empowerment to explore new beyond specific assignments for improving overall value proposition of responsibilities

What Majesco Offers:

Majesco is committed to equal pay and transparency. Β The annual base salary range for this position is $145,000 - $190,000. Β Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. Β It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors.
