The Dental Network Product Owner & Delivery Lead is responsible for developing and implementing our network technology strategy, through the creation of a multi-year roadmap and the identification of both short- and long-term technology projects to ensure we can continue to maintain a market-leading dental network. In this role you will successfully navigate the development of long-term strategic plans while also ensuring that the technical teams are provided with the user stories and clear expectations required to move work forward following agile methodology.

You will

  • Develop a multi-year network system roadmap by integrating relevant market and customer research findings and working with in-house collaborators to identify potential areas for growth or improvement
  • Translate the multi-year roadmap into tangible projects and create a cost-benefits analysis for each project
  • Secure funding for projects by working with internal business transformation colleagues
  • Collaborate with internal collaborators, including cross-functional teams and business units, to understand their needs, translate them into technical solutions / user stories, and set expectations
  • Partner with technology teams to meet the overall release plan at the project and team level, understand blockers/limitations and their impact on the product and relevance to end users
  • Set priorities, develop a roadmap, and establish clear objectives for the technology team responsible for building and improving the product
  • Create release and launch plans in coordination with the Business and Engineering teams
  • Groom and prioritize the technical backlog
  • Monitor and analyze important metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and improve processes continuously (feedback loops)
  • Remain informed about industry trends, new technologies, and guidelines associated with insurance and user experience
  • Filter requestsβ€”pushing back when necessaryβ€”and prioritize requests to keep the team focused on delivering impactful solutions

You have

  • College degree preferred or equivalent related work experience
  • 5+ years related experience with 3 + years managing and successfully delivering complex and/or multi-year transformative programs across Business and IT
  • Experience working in a SAFe agile software development environment
  • Strong process and product management skills
  • Deep understanding of technical capabilities with the ability to translate business needs into capabilities focused on customer experience and agile product development
  • Ability to support construction and prioritization of program backlogs with significant collaboration from IT, Business, Architecture, Vendor Partners, and Product Owners
  • Experience with Agile toolset (JIRA, JIRA-ALIGN, Confluence).
  • Resourceful problem solver with a talent for generating ideas and delivering strategic plans
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Proven ability to foster and manage working relationships within a matrixed environment with a positive attitude
  • Strong influencing and communication skills with ability to discuss the strategy and roadmap at various levels of the organization, ability to β€œtell the story”


Location
This is a flexible position requiring 3 days a week in a Guardian office, preferably Boston, MA, Bethlehem, PA or New York, NY.

Salary Range:

$101,180.00 - $166,220.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
