As a Product Management Co-op, youβll play a key role in shaping innovative hardware solutions that improve the lives of people managing diabetes. Youβll gain hands-on experience across the product lifecycle and collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to deliver impactful products. This role is ideal for someone with a hardware engineering background or strong technical acumen who is interested in pursuing a career in product management. This is a hybrid role (3+ days per week) based out of our Acton, MA headquarters. This co-op runs from January to June, with the potential for a full-time opportunity based on performance and business needs.Β

What Youβll DoΒ
Support Product Discovery: Assist in identifying user needs and pain points, particularly for individuals with accessibility challenges.Β
Collaborate with Engineering & Design: Work closely with hardware engineers, industrial designers, and other stakeholders to define and refine product requirements.Β
Support Business Case Development: Contribute to building the business case for new product concepts by synthesizing user insights, market data, and technical feasibility to inform investment decisions.Β
Assist in Prototyping & Testing: Participate in concept evaluations, usability testing, and feedback synthesis to inform design iterations.Β
Document Requirements & Insights: Support the team in translating user research and technical input into clear, actionable product requirements.Β
Support Cross-Functional Alignment: Support the team in engaging with regulatory, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure compliance and feasibility.Β
Participate in Development Planning: Join sprint reviews, PI planning, and other key planning activities to understand how hardware development timelines and milestones align with product management priorities.Β

Education & ExperienceΒ
Currently in your 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelorβs degree program in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical), Industrial Design, or a related field.Β
Interest in pursuing a career in product management and medical device development.Β
Familiarity with CAD tools, prototyping, or usability testing is a plus.Β
Knowledge of diabetes care is helpful but not required.Β

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $26.00 - $34.25. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
