ABOUT THE POSITION

Plaskolite is seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Product Management to lead our product portfolio strategy, development, and commercial execution across all business segments. This senior role will bridge product management, marketing, and sales, ensuring that our solutions align with evolving customer needs and drive sustainable, profitable growth globally.

The ideal candidate is a commercially driven leader with a deep understanding of plastics manufacturing, global markets, and a proven track record of expanding margins and accelerating growth through innovative product strategies. This newly created position is an integral part of the global Commercial Leadership Team.

ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Strategy and Leadership

• Develop and execute a global product portfolio strategy that supports Plaskolite’s revenue growth, margin expansion, and market leadership objectives
• Identify and prioritize opportunities for new product development, product extensions, and strategic portfolio optimization
• Monitor product lifecycle performance and lead rationalization efforts to maximize profitability

Sales, Marketing, and Global Expansion

• Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to create and execute effective go-to-market plans for existing and new products, tailored for domestic and international markets
• Support expansion into global markets by identifying product adaptations, regulatory considerations, and growth strategies specific to key international regions
• Lead product positioning initiatives that highlight Plaskolite's value proposition and competitive advantages across diverse geographies

Margin Expansion and Commercial Management

• Drive margin enhancement by optimizing product pricing strategies, leveraging cost reductions, and aligning product mix with profitable market segments
• Implement rigorous financial analyses and business case development for new and existing products to ensure margin accretive growth
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to continuously improve product cost structures and deliver greater value to customers

Team Leadership and Development

• Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing, customer-focused Product Management team
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability that aligns with Plaskolite’s core values

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in Product Management, Marketing, or Commercial leadership roles within manufacturing (plastics, chemicals, or related industries preferred)
• Strong understanding of B2B industrial sales channels and product commercialization processes
• Demonstrated success in driving profitable growth through effective product and market strategies
• Exceptional leadership skills, including team building, cross-functional collaboration, and executive communication
• Skilled user of customer relationship management (CRM) software/tools or other database platforms to support data analysis and gain key insights
• Proficiency in business intelligence (BI) software, such as Power BI, Tableau, or SAP a plus
• Ability to travel as needed (approximately 25%)
