Summary:
As the Shipping Product Owner you will partner with the Product Strategy and Engineering teams to drive forward innovations through extreme ownership of the product backlog.Β To do this successfully you will write and provide detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, drive the sprint management process, and lead testing and approval of the new feature(s) to meet delivery timeframes and other success metrics.Β This is a critical, high-visibility role within the RF-SMART organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product management and senior management to create a compelling shipping product that fits the RF-SMART portfolio
- Lead the agile delivery process, which includes: translating strategic requirements to clear functional user stories, sprint planning and management, and assisting with the QA and UAT processes as needed to ensure the newly developed features meet the desired objectives
- Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for product related queries.Β This includes service as the internal βgo-to personβ for learning about how Shipping works and remaining aware of newly released NetSuite features that affect the product
- Collaborate with stakeholders, internal and external, during the visioning and concept development of a product feature, then schedule and lead design sessions with the appropriate partners
- Develop a deep understanding of the shipping applicationβs ERP and carrier integrations to ensure seamless flow of data and functionality
- Interact with Product Engineering, Business Analysts, Quality Analysts, Sales Team, and Customers to collect feedback, provide guidance, and train others on new features. This may include conducting customer demos and supporting implementations
- Provide ad hoc consulting to services and support on customer use cases and viability of modification
- Interact with engineers during the ongoing development process on technical and functional approaches for maintenance and new development activities using forward thinking and consistent design patterns
- Validate submitted issues from support and prioritize work on product fixes and/or enhancements
- Review product documentation and engage with our technical writers to ensure accuracy

Education and Experience:
- Bachelorβs degree in business, supply chain, computer science, or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated passion and excellence over at least two years in translating functional or strategic requirements to clear, concise, and inspiring user stories
- Experience leading the end-to-end sprint planning and management processes
- Expertise with multi-carrier parcel shipping and global import/export preferred
- Strong technical acumen preferred, including but not limited to proficiency in: cloud architecture, parcel carrier and aggregator API integrations, warehouse and transportation management systems, and ERP systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work on multiple projects independently
- Role is based in Jacksonville, FL in our US East Office
- Occasional travel may be required up toΒ 15%
