Who We're Looking For

We’re seeking a Product Owner / Project Manager with a strong understanding of modern web platforms and the ability to bridge business needs with technical execution. You’ll lead the delivery of a modular platform featuring admin tools, R&D reporting, and financial data systems. This role demands clear communication, organizational excellence, and the ability to guide a cross-functional development team working with Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, MongoDB, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Primary Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the product roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable user stories.
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring clear acceptance criteria.
  • Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in an Agile/Scrum or Kanban workflow.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the development team and business stakeholders.
  • Track progress and report on key metrics to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure technical feasibility and proper implementation.
  • Ensure that modules (Admin CRM, R&D reporting, and financial reporting) deliver value and meet user needs

Β Some Must-Haves:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, or similar role in a software development environment
  • Strong understanding of modern web application architecture
  • Familiarity with Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, MongoDB, and/or GCP (you won’t be coding, but you’ll need to speak the team’s language)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing backlogs
  • Ability to balance business needs with technical realities, and make trade-off decisions when necessary
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, Agile environments

Other Information

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
