Who We're Looking For
We’re seeking a Product Owner / Project Manager with a strong understanding of modern web platforms and the ability to bridge business needs with technical execution. You’ll lead the delivery of a modular platform featuring admin tools, R&D reporting, and financial data systems. This role demands clear communication, organizational excellence, and the ability to guide a cross-functional development team working with Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, MongoDB, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Primary Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the product roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable user stories.
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring clear acceptance criteria.
- Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in an Agile/Scrum or Kanban workflow.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the development team and business stakeholders.
- Track progress and report on key metrics to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure technical feasibility and proper implementation.
- Ensure that modules (Admin CRM, R&D reporting, and financial reporting) deliver value and meet user needs
Some Must-Haves:
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, or similar role in a software development environment
- Strong understanding of modern web application architecture
- Familiarity with Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, MongoDB, and/or GCP (you won’t be coding, but you’ll need to speak the team’s language)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing backlogs
- Ability to balance business needs with technical realities, and make trade-off decisions when necessary
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, Agile environments

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
