TheΒ Product Owner Commercial Cell TherapyΒ is a business-facing leader responsible for shaping and deliveringΒ technologyΒ solutions forΒ theΒ commercializationΒ ofΒ cell therapy and other advanced modalities, including gene therapy. This role partners closely with brand, patient services, medical, and operations leaders to ensureΒ successfulΒ launch with particular focus on services that supportΒ patients and caregiversΒ toΒ successfully access and navigate complex, high-touch treatmentΒ journeys.Β 

This position plays a critical role in translating scientific innovation intoΒ practical, scalable, and patient-centered solutions, while meeting all regulatory and quality requirements.Β

Key ResponsibilitiesΒ 

  • Serve as the senior business partner forΒ globalΒ commercialΒ solutionsΒ supporting cell therapy and new modality portfolios.Β 

  • Work withΒ subject matter expertsΒ inΒ medical,Β commercial, market accessΒ and other functional areas to shape and define requirements forΒ the cellΒ therapy and new modality portfolios.Β Β 

  • Act as a subject-matter expert inΒ patient services, including access, affordability, sustainability, and patient safety.Β 

  • Define andΒ optimizeΒ end-to-end patient journeys, addressing unique advanced therapy needs such as travelΒ logistics, caregiver support, site coordination, and long-term follow-up.Β 

  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure patient programs are aligned, seamless, and free of gaps or duplication.Β 

  • Shape and coordinate strategy across multiple initiatives to ensure alignment with corporate priorities and patient-centricΒ objectives.Β 

  • Evaluate and guideΒ solutionsΒ to ensure strong patient experience, business readiness, and value realization.Β 

  • IdentifyΒ opportunities to enhance patient solutions through innovation, including selective use of digital and AI-enabled capabilities.Β 

  • Mentor and coach team members, strengthening business partnering and patient-focused capabilities.Β

Experience & QualificationsΒ 

EssentialΒ 

  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required

  • Significant experienceΒ working in aΒ regulated pharmaceutical environmentΒ 

  • Deep experience leadingΒ patient solutions for cell therapy, gene therapy, or other advanced modalitiesΒ 

  • Strong understanding of theΒ US healthcare systemΒ and patient access landscapeΒ 

  • Demonstrated success delivering global patient programs and complex initiativesΒ 

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skillsΒ 

DesirableΒ 

  • Experience leading global, virtual teamsΒ 

  • Mentoring or coaching experienceΒ 

  • Experience working with external partners or vendorsΒ 

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from 151,177.60 - 226,766.40 USD Annual (80% - 120%).Β Our positions offer eligibility for various incentivesβ€”an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans. ​
