The Product Owner is responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog to align with strategic goals, customer needs, and AI-enabled product opportunities. This role partners closely with Product Managers to translate product strategy into execution and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact healthcare SaaS solutions that enhance user experience, compliance, and intelligent workflow automation.ย

Strategic Backlog Managementย
Define and maintain the product backlog with clear prioritiesย
Partner with Product Managers to translate product strategy into actionable user stories and prioritized backlog itemsย
Align backlog with customer value, compliance needs, and opportunities to embed technology/AI driven capabilities where they improve outcomes and efficiencyย
Agile Execution & Iterative Developmentย
Drive agile ceremonies and sprint planningย
Collaborate with engineering and design teams for deliveryย
Ensure continuous improvement through feedback loopsย
Partner with development, operations and data teams to shape all features, validate outcomes, and iterate based on user and business impactย
Healthcare Domain Expertiseย
Understand healthcare workflows and compliance standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR)ย
Design for interoperability and regulatory alignmentย
Prioritize features that improve clinical and operational outcomesย
Understand the application of AI in healthcare workflows, including documentation support, decision support, and automation, while considering accuracy, safety, and regulatory implicationsย
Stakeholder Engagement & Communicationย

Required Qualifications:ย
Education & Experience Guidelinesย
Bachelorโs Degree in relevant fieldย
2-5 years of relevant work experienceย
Proven experience as a Product Owner in a SaaS environmentย
Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled product capabilities, prompt-driven workflows, and responsible AI considerations such as accuracy, transparency, bias, privacy, and human oversightย
Experience in healthcare SaaS is highly preferred; experience supporting AI-enabled or data-intensive products is a plusย
Travel up to 30%ย
Familiarity with analytics tools and data-driven decision makingย
Understanding of HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare interoperability standardsย
