We are looking for a Product Owner to join our team. Are you a self-starter who can take control of minor/large projects with collaboration as needed? This may be the role for you!

What You'll DoΒ (Functions & Responsibilities)

  • Define, refine, and assist in management of product backlogs, ensuring alignment with business strategy and goals
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to gather and prioritize requirements
  • Identify the key resource needs, dependencies, and complexities prior to beginning a large development project
  • Write clear, detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation (JIRA)
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers and developers in both Figma and Storybook to refine product features/stories
  • Ensure seamless coordination with QA, engineering, and customer support teams.
  • Participate/Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and product demos.
  • Collaborate with Training, Support, and SMEs to update the Quarterly Release training guide, Streamline University content, and Knowledge Base as new developments are released
  • Work directly with integration partners/vendors to ensure seamless connections via APIs
  • Develop and lead webinars to go over feature releases and generate excitement
  • Coordinate Custom Development User Acceptance Testing and feedback
  • Coordinate Client Surveys and Focus Groups with UI/UX Designer
  • Conduct Case Studies with clients to identify needs/gaps
  • Testing of Development Tasks to assist QA as needed
  • Research Industry and competitors for trends and research for trends and gaps
  • Travel to client sites to understand their operations and development needs
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

What We're Looking For (Minimum qualifications)

  • 2 + years of experience as a Junior Product Owner, Product Owner, or similar role in a software or technology company
  • Strong experience in Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Asana, Figma, or similar platforms
  • Tech Savvy with a thirst to learn.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to understand business needs and transform them into actionable product requirements
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Quick learner, detail oriented, and collaborative team player
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with multiple development teams and familiar with software development lifecycles.
  • Experience in vacation/corporate rental software, property management, or hospitality tech
  • Knowledge of Jira or similar platform(s)
  • Familiarity with APIs, data integrations, or accounting platforms
  • UX/UI design experience or familiarity with Figma and Storybook
  • Understanding of XML/JSON

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business equivalent relevant experience.
