Commercial Real Estate (βCREβ) is one of the worldβs largest asset classes plagued with poor quality data and archaic tools. Founded in 2018, Prophia is the only company that has designed and built a machine learning driven data management platform that helps commercial real estate organizations drive the financial performance of their assets. We are a Series A stage company, having raised over $15m of venture capital to date to deliver trusted data to our customers, providing them with more time, insights, and risk management. We operate as a distributed team, with most employees based in the San Francisco Bay Area and Seattle and additional employees located across the country.
About the Role:
It is an exciting time at Prophia! We are building a new product from the ground up with generative AI at its core. With this new product we will be THE document intelligence platform for commercial real estate βbuilt to scale high-volume lease work, streamline data access, and deliver results once only possible with human expertise.
As a Product Manager on the team, you will have a direct influence on multiple product areas across the platform. You will be responsible for translating business requirements to product features, shepherding those requirements throughout the development process and owning the successful release of those features to our customers. You will also foster relationships with your different stakeholders including customers, designers, engineers and the customer success team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Research and understand how our customers are using our product and champion their needs
- Define functional product requirements by translating product ideasΒ into clear and detailed product requirement documents
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to create solutions that are compelling, easy to use and realistic to implement
- Partner with commercial teams on launch plans, messaging and positioningΒ
- Coordinate day to day sprint planning and timelines to ensure successful product releases and delivery of specific initiativesΒ
- Synthesize feedback from product users, design partners and internal stakeholders to be utilized in technology discussions and decisions
- Autonomously solve challenging problems by combining creative and analytic thinkingΒ
- Be ready to jump in and get your hands dirty technically - whether it be an architecture or AI discussion, an SQL query to pull data, or a quick prototype
- Opportunity to take on a leadership role within the Product teamΒ
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of working experience creating high-tech products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability and eagerness to learn quickly and move independently
- Highly data-driven, capable of in-depth data interpretation and analysis
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize amongst competing opportunities, balance customer needs with business priorities, and explain the rationale behind those decisions
- Thrives in a multi-disciplinary role
- Continuous learner on all things product, the CRE industry and AI
- Has experience in a fast-paced startup (less than 100 employees) or ability to excel in a high impact, high ambiguity startup environment in a role that is ever evolving
- Experience working on AI products is a major plusΒ
Compensation for this role is comprised of an annual salary ranging between $150-180k as well as equity and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications and experience.Β
