We are looking for a talented Product Manager to join our team specializing in Marketing for our location, Florence, KY.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Strategic Planning and Forecasting: Develop and execute long-term product line strategies, forecasts, and annual operating plans that align with business unit goals and drive sustainable growth.
Marketing Mix and Product Launch: Design and implement comprehensive marketing plans—including product, price, promotion, and placement—to ensure successful product introductions and lifecycle management.
Pricing and Profitability Management: Lead pricing activities throughout the product lifecycle to support revenue targets and optimize profitability, while aligning with market dynamics and customer expectations.
Brand and Communication Leadership: Ensure effective implementation of product branding strategies and lead internal and external communications to reinforce product value and market positioning.
Market Research and Competitive Positioning: Leverage market research tools to understand customer needs and competitor strategies, and define a clear stance in the target market to differentiate Cummins offerings.
Customer Satisfaction and Issue Resolution: Champion customer satisfaction by proactively addressing elevated product-related issues and implementing initiatives that enhance customer value and loyalty.
Cross-Functional and Global Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, legal, sales, and global teams to protect intellectual property, support product development, and ensure global profitability of the product line.
Team Leadership and Development: Create work plans for Product Managers and Associate Product Managers, provide guidance on challenges, and delegate assignments based on individual strengths and development needs.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Marketing, Sales, technical, or a related subject required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Significant relevant work experience required, including supervisory experience.
Product managers oversee all facets of their respective product line including launching new products, marketing and promoting their lines, supporting our outside sales team, developing and presenting business plans and implementing annual pricing actions. This position requires on-site attendance three days a week, with an option to work from home on Tuesday and Friday.
Additional responsibility includes supporting the reduction and disposition of excess and obsolete inventory.
