Product ManagerΒ General Summary:
Drucker Diagnostics is seeking a Product Manager to drive strategic development and lifecycle management of designated products in our medical equipment portfolio. This role requires a unique blend of healthcare industry knowledge, technical expertise, and business acumen to drive product innovation while ensuring regulatory compliance and market success.

As a Product Manager, you will work across the organization to ensure that the company is prepared to promote, sell, supply, and support the product line in accordance with the company's current market strategy. You will guide the evolution of the product line throughout the entire product lifecycle, recommending future products, product improvements, and simplifications to support the company's medium and long-term strategy.

You will work closely with Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Sales & Account Management, Quality, Regulatory, and Finance teams. Externally, you will serve as the subject matter expert and ambassador of the product line, available for joint sales calls and demonstrations, public speaking, training of partners and customers, and representing the company with professional associations.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in US clinical and laboratory equipment with a strong history of developing and launching products in US Hospital and Laboratory equipment markets. Success in this role requires working in a highly collaborative and energetic environment, excelling in hands-on execution, and being dedicated to building organizational entrepreneurial and growth mindsets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Planning

  • Develop comprehensive product roadmaps aligned with company strategic objectives and market opportunities
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new product opportunities and market trends
  • Define product positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to establish priorities and resource allocation
  • Monitor competitors, providing insights and recommendations on how to develop, refine, and position our products
  • Conduct pricing analysis and develop competitive pricing strategies
  • Track product performance metrics including revenue, margins, and market share
  • Prepare business cases for new product investments and portfolio decisions

Product Development & Management

  • Lead, plan, and execute cross-functional product development projects including engineering, operations, sales, and marketing
  • Manage product lifecycle from concept through commercialization and end-of-life
  • Release new products by driving approved projects through the Stage Gate process
  • Define product requirements and specifications based on customer needs and standards
  • Oversee product testing and validation processes
Regulatory Compliance & Quality
  • Ensure all products meet FDA regulations, ISO standards, and other applicable medical device requirements
  • Collaborate with regulatory team to manage quality system documentation and compliance audits
  • Maintain understanding of regulatory landscape and its impact on product development
  • Support risk management activities and design controls for the development process

Market Analysis & Customer Engagement

  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and sales data to inform product decisions
  • Conduct customer interviews, site visits, and Voice of Customer (VoC) evaluations to gather product insights and translate insights into differentiated product value
  • Work closely with commercial teams to develop product training materials and sales tools
  • Develop strong relationships with key accounts, decision makers, and influencers
  • Support customer relationships and participate in trade shows and industry conferences
  • Assess the hospital lab environment and business opportunities, gathering VoC insights and providing feedback to leadership

Required Qualifications
Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of product management experience in medical devices or healthcare technology
  • Experience with FDA-regulated products and medical device development processes
  • Expertise in laboratory workflows, equipment, and understanding of key purchasing decision-makers in US healthcare markets

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of medical device design controls and quality management systems
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements including CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, and IEC 60601
  • Proficiency in product management tools and methodologies
  • Experience with project management software and data analysis tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Experience with laboratory and clinical benchtop centrifuges
  • International market experience and understanding of global regulatory requirements
  • Technical background in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field
  • Experience with digital health technologies and connected medical devices
