We are looking to hire a Director, Product Manager, to join our Risk & Compliance Analytics & Reporting team. This position is based in New York/Pittsburgh, with an expectation of 4-5 days per week in the office. The role will report to the Global Head of Risk and Compliance Analytics & Reporting.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:Β 

  • Leading the global vision and strategy for the Risk and compliance intelligence platform (RCIP) within RCAR. aligning with client needs, industry trends, and firm-wide innovation.Β 
  • Translate customer needs from Risk stripe leads, RCAR leads into actionable product standards (experience principles, design patterns, service tiers, reliability/latency targets, governance baselines).Β 
  • Partner deeply with RCAR horizontal leads (in data, UI, AI), engineering, UX, security, and SREΒ  to build, prioritize, and execute a roadmap with measurable value at each stepβ€”balancing platform foundations with customer-facing outcomes.Β 
  • Tracking adoption metrics, platform usage, telemetry and client feedback to continuously improveΒ 
  • Innovating around future-proofing and commercializing use of RCIP firmwide, including the use of emerging technologies like generative AI.Β

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:Β 

  • 10+ years of prior work experience in a global financial or professional services firm, with at least 5 years specifically in Finance, Risk, Compliance, or Audit roles.Β 
  • 5; years in product management, program management, strategy/operations, or Chief of Staff/Program management roles within financial services or technology-enabled functions.Β 
  • Strong analytical and executive communication skills – able to synthesize complex information, building compelling narratives, and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with compliance and risk functions; experience supporting analytics or data-driven programs
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex, multi-region deliverables.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all lines of defense and multiple regions/time zones, fostering a strong risk culture.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, capable of influencing and presenting complex risk and compliance information clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm, and adaptability to rapidly assimilate new information and operate with a strong delivery focus in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative areas like business, finance, engineering, or related disciplines; relevant industry certifications or qualifications are a plus.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $127,000 and $211,500 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.Β 
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
