Job Summary

The Corporate Applications Product Owner is responsible for the strategic ownership, administration, optimization, and support of Trimont's core Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) corporate applications, with primary responsibility for NetSuite, UKG, and SAP Concur. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams, implementation partners, and software vendors to ensure applications effectively support business processes and organizational objectives.

The Product Owner partners closely with Accounting, Finance, People & Culture (HR/Payroll), and other business functions to understand requirements, evaluate opportunities for process improvement, and translate business needs into scalable system solutions. The Product Owner will own the product roadmap, system configuration strategy, vendor relationships, and continuous improvement initiatives for assigned platforms.

This position requires a strong combination of business acumen, application expertise, process design capabilities, and technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, governance, and lifecycle management of NetSuite, UKG, Concur, and related enterprise applications.
  • Partner with Finance, People & Culture, and other business leaders to align technology solutions with organizational objectives, improve core business processes, support reporting and analytics, and drive user adoption.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and implementation partners, managing priorities across enhancement requests, development queues, vendor support, and partner delivery resources.
  • Translate business needs into scalable system solutions by gathering requirements, maintaining standard templates, prioritizing enhancements and integrations, and advancing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead application administration, configuration, support, upgrades, security, compliance, audits, data integrity, and performance management to ensure platform stability and operational excellence.
  • Oversee application integrations, APIs, automation, identity management, access controls, and ERP application connectivity across the corporate application portfolio.
  • Plan and manage system updates, enhancements, deployments, upgrades, test plans, and user acceptance testing in accordance with corporate technical governance, change management, and implementation methodologies.
  • Establish governance standards, service metrics, KPIs, ITSM ticket queue practices, and vendor performance expectations while driving continuous improvement across the application portfolio.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Accounting, HR, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise business applications.
  • 5+ years of experience serving as a Product Owner, Business Systems Analyst, Application Manager, or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite administration, configuration, and support.
  • Experience partnering with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Payroll, and HR teams.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver technology-enabled business solutions.
  • Experience managing software vendors, implementation partners, and third-party service providers.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, financial operations, HR processes, compliance, and internal controls.
  • Experience with application administration, security, workflows, reporting, and analytics.
  • Proficiency in integrations, APIs, middleware, data management, automation, SSO, and identity/access management.
  • Familiarity with Agile product management and delivery methodologies.
  • Experience with UKG and SAP Concur
  • Experience with middleware and integration platforms.
  • Experience supporting SaaS applications in regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile product management methodologies.
