Description

We are looking for a strategic and customer-focusedΒ Data Product ManagerΒ to lead the development and lifecycle of data products that drive business insights, operational efficiency, and innovation. This role bridges the gap between data engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to ensure our data products deliver measurable value.



Responsibilities
  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap for the data platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder needs. Own the strategy and release of the product.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, analytics, and business teams to prioritize features, manage trade-offs, and deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications, ensuring data products are scalable, compliant, and aligned with industry standards. Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements.
  • Manage the lifecycle of data products, including data sets, APIs, dashboards, and analytical tools, from ideation to delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor performance and adoptionΒ of data products, using metrics to drive enhancements and demonstrate business value.
  • Promote data literacy and self-service analyticsΒ across business units & clients to empower decision-making.
  • Problem solving across multiple platforms, analysis, negotiating skills, business acumen, conflict management skills
  • Communicate problems, customer issues, challenges, and desired outcomes to the rest of the team, and work with the team to develop solutions.
  • Coordinate and facilitate product meetings, customer/user conversations, and customer-product testing.


Qualifications
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focused on data products in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Experience with modern data platforms and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with data analysis programming languages- SQL, Python
  • Experience in property & casualty insurance, claims platforms, or enterprise SaaS
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree or industry certifications (e.g., CPCU, AIDA) are a plus.
