The Product Manager has a key role in establishing NICEโ€™s vision, strategy, and product roadmap for NICEโ€™s Customer Experience Analytics solutions. The role requires a high-energy individual who excels at working with cross-functional teams in a technical space and is comfortable in leading a team effort, as well as influencing others to achieve company objectives.โ€ฏย 

The Product Manager is the champion for their products throughout each product's lifecycle, from strategic definition to technical design to end-of-life planning. The core objective of the Product Manager is to optimize product profitability by maximizing customer satisfaction through timely delivery of appropriate and useful products/features, with clearly articulated product positioning that effectively communicates the value proposition of the NICE solution. The Product Manager represents customer needs in product definition documents and on cross-functional program teams, ensures product acceptance in the market, and plans orderly transitions of products from one version to the next. Together with Product Marketing and Development,โ€ฏand other members of the Product Management team,โ€ฏthe Product Manager will help the company develop a product roadmap that ensures NICE offers highly competitive solutions to its customers.โ€ฏย 

Essential functions of the Product Manager include developingโ€ฏmarket and product requirements for the NICE product/solution offering, based upon customer, competitive, technical,โ€ฏand market information. The Senior Product Manager defines the roll-out plans for delivering the individual products to market, develops product positioning,โ€ฏpackaging,โ€ฏand pricing strategies, and champions the product launch process for and within NICE, including with potential customers.โ€ฏย 

The ideal candidate has aโ€ฏbackground in requirements definition,โ€ฏas well asโ€ฏexperience working on cross-functional teams and interfacing with customers. This may be from prior roles as a Product Manager, Business Analyst, User Experience professional,โ€ฏQuality Engineer,โ€ฏor others.โ€ฏ This individual hasโ€ฏdemonstrated ability to grasp, and then articulate,โ€ฏbusiness andโ€ฏtechnical concepts to a wide variety of audiences.โ€ฏ The ideal candidate can influence various parts of an organization with the necessary excellent interpersonal skills to quickly gather and distill information, build relationships with strategic customers and vendors outside of NICE (as well as with key people within NICE), and champion their ideas and products both inside and outside of NICE.โ€ฏThe ideal candidate also possesses strong technical and business analysis skillsโ€ฏtoโ€ฏquickly assess and remain abreast of the state of the industry. This includes synthesis of any promising new technologies, new applications of technology, standards activities, changes in buyer behavior and expectations, competitive vendor positioning or moves, etc.โ€ฏย

A Typical Day Might Include the Following:

  • Work with partners, customers, and NICE sales to understand businessโ€™ needsโ€ฏregardingโ€ฏinteractionโ€ฏanalytics with the contactโ€ฏcenter.โ€ฏย 
  • Develop and maintain appropriate โ€œProduct Requirements Backlogsโ€ detailing the business and technical requirements for eachโ€ฏrelease.โ€ฏย 
  • Assist with the development of the functional/technical design for the features and functions called for by the productโ€ฏrequirements.โ€ฏย 
  • Manage relationships across functional groups and influence cross-functional groups without direct hierarchical ownership of teams orโ€ฏproducts.โ€ฏย 
  • Prioritize and update defects, improvements, andโ€ฏenhancements.โ€ฏย 
  • Designโ€ฏ/ Storyboardโ€ฏand develop product demonstrationโ€ฏscenarios within theโ€ฏapplication.โ€ฏย 
  • Participate in customer-facing sales meetings, events, and user conferences as a productโ€ฏexpert.โ€ฏย 
  • Perform competitive analysis and become the reference point for knowledge of the competitionโ€™sโ€ฏrelevantโ€ฏproduct(s).โ€ฏย 
  • Communicate the value of the Nexidia solutions to a wide range of audiences, including internal employees (primarily sales,โ€ฏservices,โ€ฏand support), customers, prospects, and partners.โ€ฏย 
  • Communicate in an effective and professional way with customers in and outside of NICE CXone

To Land This Gig You'll Need:

Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Marketing, or similar field or equivalent work experience required. Masterโ€™s Degree preferred.

  • 5+ yearsโ€™ experience with software product management,โ€ฏprofessional services, or in another relevantโ€ฏrole.โ€ฏโ€ฏย 
  • Excellent written and oral communicationโ€ฏskills.โ€ฏโ€ฏย 
  • Demonstrated experience as a persuasive and persistent advocate for customerโ€ฏneeds.โ€ฏโ€ฏย 
  • Excellent cross-functional team leader with project managementโ€ฏskills.โ€ฏโ€ฏย 
  • Demonstrated ability to take the initiative and work in a self-directedโ€ฏmanner.โ€ฏโ€ฏย 
  • Ability to thrive in a changingโ€ฏenvironment.โ€ฏโ€ฏย 
  • Ability to communicate comfortably across all levels of corporateโ€ฏstructure.โ€ฏโ€ฏย 
  • Ability to work with sales executives and assist with opportunities as subject matter expert, especially when offerings are new toโ€ฏmarket.โ€ฏโ€ฏย 
  • Contact Center Business experienceโ€ฏpreferred.โ€ฏโ€ฏย 
  • User experience / Graphic design skills a plus, but notโ€ฏrequired.โ€ฏโ€ฏย 
  • Knowledge of telephony infrastructure a plus, but not required.โ€ฏโ€ฏย 
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degreeโ€ฏ(MBA preferred).โ€ฏโ€ฏย 
  • Experience with Contact Center solutions including self service, GenAI/LLMs, Speech Transcription, PLG, and APIs
  • Experience managing oneโ€™s own time and balancing many different projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with software development, networking, hosted applications, telecommunications, or other similar technical products
  • Experience with a SaaS product set.
