Job Description
An integral member of the Marketing team, the Product Manager/Associate Product Manager is focused on managing execution of specific project workstreams and supporting members of the Marketing team as needed. They will lead several marketing projects on their own with limited supervision and is responsible for leading their specific projects through the promotional review process. This role is an individual contributor.
Supports the development of effective marketing programs/initiatives that deliver on both short and long-range strategic goals (e.g. personal and non-personal/digital promotions, HCP speaker programs, professional association meeting exhibits and sponsorships)
Accountable for project management of specific marketing initiatives, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within approved budget
Manages marketing materials inventory, including clinical paper distribution (hardcopy and digital)
Proactively supports marketing team and/or cross functional stakeholders in the management of HCP speaker programs and conference components
Interacts with field sales and other team members to develop and execute effective marketing initiatives
Supports marketing team in the development of Field Direction Memos for training related to promotional materials/projects as needed
Demonstrates ability to lead external vendor relationships and solve basic issues while motivating them to achieve the best quality outputΒ for the brand and ensuring adherence to all compliance/regulatory policies
Has an understanding of disease state, marketplace and product
Efficiently executes PRC submissions, facilitates materials through the required legal, regulatory, and medical review process using Veeva system while advancing the brand relationship with Marketing Services/Promotional Review Committee
Actively contributes to shaping a strong marketing culture within the business unit
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelorβs Degree required (Marketing/Business preferred)
Experience:
3+ years of commercial/related business experience in supporting marketing or commercial functions, ideally in a pharmaceutical industry. Experience in critical care, rare disease, hospital launch account sales is a plus
Understands the discipline of marketing; is highly organized, and self-motivated with attention to detail
Experience in managing external vendor relationships
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skill set with ability to collaborate and influence others without positional authority
Possesses organizational and budget management skills
Aptitude for learning complex clinical and scientific information; able to engage in disease specific dialogue with Key Opinion Leaders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Teams), Veeva

SCOPE OF POSITION:
This position will report to the Senior Director, Launch Brands and has no direct reports.
