SUMMARY:
The incumbent will be responsible for the overall success of our company's products. You will work with cross-functional teams and work closely with R&D, sales, and marketing teams to drive product strategy, vision, and roadmap. You will conduct market research, gather customer feedback, and analyze product metrics to make informed product decisions. As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive the success of our products in the market and will own the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond. You will also be responsible for developing buyer personas, creating messaging, and positioning, and developing sales enablement tools.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overall champion, evangelist, and owner of assigned product lines and their lifecycle including market share, sales, and profitability growth.
- Partner with other functional leaders to ensure alignment and execution of corporate goals and initiatives on
- product planning,
- R&D,
- supply chain,
- finance & accounting,
- sales & marketing,
- service,
- operations, and
- customer service
to meet & exceed customer needs and expectations.
- Develop and execute product strategy, including identifying new market opportunities, defining product features and requirements, and developing business cases. Conduct market research to identify customer needs & market trends and use this information to develop product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies. Manage risk mitigation strategies within product line.
- Create sales tools and user training for both internal and external sales teams.
- Partner with marketing and vertical leaders to develop unique selling propositions to drive competitive advantages for growth in the market.
- Lead product launches, including developing and executing launch plans, creating product messaging and positioning, and coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch products, including working with R&D and corporate Product Management to define product requirements, and working with marketing teams to develop go-to-market plans and materials.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for products and use data and analytics to make data-driven decisions about product improvements and features.
- Participate in user conferences and customer facing situations as a product expert.
- Support hardware demonstrations, technical discussions, and Q&A with customers.
- Provide product and solution advice and guidance in relevant meetings and activities.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings, and use this knowledge to inform product strategy and roadmaps. Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure products are effectively marketed and positioned, including developing product demos, sales tools, and collateral. Monitor and report on the competitive landscape and use this information to inform product strategy and positioning. Broaden product portfolio by promoting and developing 3rd party partnerships.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 yearsβ experience in product management; development and implementation of product roadmap plans and launch of products into market.
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field. Ability to efficiently drive projects to conclusion through proactive planning, extremely high attention to detail, and holding stakeholders accountable.
- Experience developing go-to-market strategies and executing successful product launches.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to create and conduct formal presentations.
- A creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to efficiently drive projects to conclusion through proactive planning, extremely high attention to detail, and holding stakeholders accountable.
- Professional drive, energy and enthusiasm that inspires and fosters teamwork to achieve peak performance and can positively influence others to achieve the desired outcomes.
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams. Advanced level skills in Microsoft business applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated experience with Oracle or other ERP system desired as well as experience with Salesforce.com.
