As a Product Manager at Spacesaver, you will be the product champion overseeing specific categories including new and existing product lines. Your responsibilities will consist of creating product and go-to-market strategies, leading new product development projects, executing maintenance of existing product lines and assist in other critical activities to support overall business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ย

โ€ข Lead the process of developing of new products that provide value to our customers. Duties will include establishing market research needs, gathering voice of customer data, feature prioritization, product positioning, identifying performance criteria, and price modeling.

โ€ข Work directly with Engineering and Manufacturing to understand the feasibility of manufacturing new products efficiently

โ€ข Build product stories with Marketing to generate demand for new and existing products across several markets

โ€ข Manage the performance of product categories on a SKU level and make recommendations for obsolescence

โ€ข Identify common Engineered to Order products that can be commercialized to increase overall sales

โ€ข Develop and maintain product road maps

โ€ข Attend tradeshows, develop and maintain relationships with strategic partners, train field sales reps, and meet with end users for market research (up to 30% travel)

Required Skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Marketing,ย businessย or Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of related experience, an MBA is preferredย ย 
  • Ability to travel on average 10-15% of the time and, on some occasions, up to 40% of the time
  • Knowledgeย of general marketing and product management principles
  • Entrepreneurial drive
  • Strong project management skills and experience
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Strong customer focus and effective sales and leadership skillsย 
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight time restrictions
  • Proficiencyย with Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Work, and Excel
